Depending on the composition of the waste, Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) can contain a number of materials including metals (ferrous & non-ferrous), concrete, ceramics, glass and brick. On average Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) is 10% of the volume of the input, and around 30% of its weight.

M&K supplied a Mobile Tracked Waste Screen with Flip Flow Bottom Deck to segregate the ash from the ferrous metals. Tracked Waste Screen was configured with 50mm Top Deck Cubular Mesh and 15mm bottom deck Flip Flow mats. Incinerator Bottom Ash was recovered in the 0-15mm. 15-50mm fraction was clean ferrous metal
