JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and testing Recycling Equipment to the highest quality standards. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Assemble and fit components for recycling and waste equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Undertake comprehensive mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical works
- Ensure all builds meet quality and safety standards
- Maintain accurate production records and follow job tracking systems.
- Follow safety protocols, including PPE usage, fire prevention, and safe material handling.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality inspectors to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
