Wood Recycling Companies take all grades of non-hazardous waste wood, namely:
- All soft and hard woods
- packing cases
- Chipboard and OSB
- Melamine and laminates
Wood Recycling Companies clean the waste wood, and where necessary organically treat it, and use it to produce sustainable products including biomass fuel, recycled woodchip and wood pellets.
What is Biomass?
Biomass is a renewable, sustainable energy that can deliver a significant reduction in carbon emissions when compared with traditional fossil fuels. Biomass also offers a significant cost savings against non-renewable energy sources such as natural gas and coal.
What are recycled woodchips?
Recycled woodchips are primarly used as a feedstock by the panel board industry.
What are Wood Pellets
Wood Pellets are an excellent source of environmentally efficient fuel. Wood Pellets are made from sawdust produced under high pressure (with no binding agent) that can be used as a solid fuel for heating systems. In relation to their volume wood pellets offer a high energy value and allow efficient heating.
